Judith Allen-Efstathiou

Judith Allen-Efstathiou comes from a family of 5 generations of Maine female artists. After studying printmaking and sculpture at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and Tufts University, a one-year traveling fellowship from the Boston Museum led to a 3 decade stay in Athens, Greece, where she became a naturalized Greek citizen. She now divides her time between Portland, Maine and Athens, Greece, exhibiting regularly in the US and Europe. Her art work is informed by her negotiations between these two different worlds.
