This past summer, artists Dean McCrillis, Kathi Smith, and Emily Trenholm participated in Hurricane Island Center for Science and Leadership’s artist residency. The artists were given access to Hurricane Island throughout the summer to be inspired by its natural beauty and unique history, including that of the quarrymen dating back to the 1800s. This beautiful exhibition is the result.
