Thomas Connolly - Room for Silence
July 2-25, 2026
Opening reception Thursday, July 2, 5-7pm
Exhibition at our new location: 71 Cove St
Artist Statement:
I see a thread between the making of a painting and the experience of looking at a piece. While creating, I sometimes am able to find moments of ease. Day to day demands are put aside and the joy of using colors together emerges. Revisiting a painting can evoke this original pleasure. Am I recalling my memory of making the piece or is it pleasing on its own, separate from the original process? I do value both, and it is my hope that I can share with the viewer this shared visual experience.
